Title: eInvoicing Implementation Engineer (UAE)
Company: Calculus Management Consultancy LLC
Location: UAE (on-site)
Pay: AED 15,000 per month
About Calculus
Calculus helps UAE businesses get ready for the national eInvoicing mandate. We work with Taxilla, a Ministry of Finance accredited service provider. Large businesses go live on 1 January 2027 and everyone else on 1 July 2027. We have more than 100 client entities on the platform, and the busiest year is ahead.
The role
You take each client from “here is our ERP export” to “our invoices go to the tax authority without errors.” You will:
• Read client invoices and ERP exports (SAP, Tally, Zoho, Business Central, Excel) and map every field to the UAE PINT AE standard.
• Build field registers and marked-up sample invoices that show each client what to fix.
• Set up and test client sandbox accounts on the Taxilla platform through its REST API.
• Run our small technical stack: the calculus.tax website (Next.js on Vercel) and a Python service on AWS.
• Keep client credentials safe in our password manager.
Clients must issue each eInvoice within 14 calendar days, and a delay can cost them a penalty. Small details matter in this job. For example, if I ask you “Do you live in the UAE now?”, I want you to say No.
What we use
Git, Python, Excel, JSON and XML, REST APIs and Claude Code. Our playbooks, tools and client files are all in a Git repository, and you will learn from them in your first two weeks.
You are a good fit if you
• Have 2+ years in ERP implementation, accounting systems or finance data.
• Can write a small Python script and are not afraid of a Linux server.
• Use an AI coding tool on real work.
• Write clear, plain English for finance managers who are not technical.
eInvoicing or Peppol experience is a bonus, not a requirement.
How we hire
Answer the screening questions. We will be in touch with next steps.
